Survivor 8 All Stars: 18 of your favorite contestants try to outlast each other for $1 million in prize money

TV Network: CBS Episodes: 16 weeks
Premiere: February 1, 2004 Thursday, 8:00 p.m. (E/P)
Official Site: CBS One hour episodes
Synopsis: Your favorite survivors from previous Survivor series compete in an "all star" edition. Season 8 is filmed in Panama in roughly the same location as season 7. The prize money is the same, $1,000,000 to the soul survivor, who out wits and outlasts all of the others. However, the all-star survivors will provided with few provisions--no fire, no food and only a machete, a pot and a bucket to haul water. And, it is the beginning of the rainy season during the filming, so expect the contestants to be miserable. After every episode or every three days in real time, one survivor is voted out of the tribe. The Survivors must form their own cooperative society, building shelter, gathering and catching food, and participating in contests for rewards. Those who win the reward challenges will be rewarded with things to make life more bearable. Season 8 starts off with three tribes of six contestants per tribe. The contestants compete as a team (or tribe) until the tribes merge, and then it becomes an individual contest.
