There's only so fat you can get on a diet of rice and fish...
Despite the usual drama and one unexpected wedding proposal, ratings for Sunday's Survivor: All-Stars finale on CBS proved thinner than the franchise's previous season closer.

Technically speaking, Rupert Boneham came in fourth on Survivor: All-Stars. TV Guide Online sat in the audience at Sunday's finale, though, and judging by the cheers, applause and tie-dyed tees, Rupe's clearly the fan fave...

The final four were Rupert, Jenna, Rob and Amber. When Amber won immunity, Jenna betrayed her alliance with Rupert and sided with Rob and Amber to get rid of Rupert. Of course, Rupert wanted a tie vote so that they would have to pick rocks to decide who went home, but Jenna played it safe. The final challenge was an endurance challenge. Jenna was the first out because she lost her concentration and moved her foot. Amber asked Rob to give the challenge to her, but Rob refused. In the end, Rob won and took Amber with him to the finals. The final vote was three votes to four with Shi Anne being the swing vote. Before the winner was announced Rob proposed marriage to Amber, and Amber accepted. The final twist was that CBS will give another $1 million prize to another Survivor, and the public gets to choose. Go to the CBS web site to cast your vote before May 12th.

The show began with a two part reward challenge. The survivors would compete for an overnight stay at a resort. First, all the survivors had to retrieve pots from underwater. There weren't enough pots for all the survivors, so anyone without a pot was out of the game. After several rounds, the last three were Rupert, Rob, and Lex. For the second part of the challenge, the three men had to retrieve a crate from underwater and carry it to the finish line. It was a close race between Rupert and Rob but Rupert's determination put him across the finish line first. Rupert was then given the opportunity to share his reward with any two survivors, he chose Jenna and Amber. The three enjoyed showers, a hot meal and a relaxing day away from camp. Upon their return, Jeff and fellow tribe members were waiting for them on the beach. The tribes merged and received their new blue buffs. The new tribe was named Chaboga Mogo. Immediately Boston Rob started making plans to vote out Lex. Although there was some hesitation, Amber agreed with Rob's decision. Rob reminded Amber that it was a game. When it was time for the immunity challenge, the survivors learned that one man and one woman would win immunity. This challenge also consisted of two parts. First, the two men and two women who held their breath the longest underwater would move on to the second round. Next, they had to release ten underwater buoys. The final four were, Rob vs. Lex and Kathy vs. Amber. Rob and Kathy came out victorious. After the challenge, the survivors went back to camp and Lex voiced his concerns about being duped by Rob (this was done in his confessional). Next - Rob, Lex and Kathy had a discussion and Rob directly told Lex that Mogo Mogo was sticking together and he was powerless to save Lex. Naturally, Lex was extremely angry for Rob's betrayel. Rob tried to apologize but it fell on deaf ears. Kathy told Lex she wanted to give him her immunity necklace, Lex said he did not want her to do that. At tribal council Jeff asked Rob and Kathy if they wanted to give someone their immunity necklace, they both declined. After the votes were tallied; Amber received two votes, Lex received seven. Lex will be the first member of the Jury. In his final words, Lex said he was rooting for Big Tom.

This week, there was no merge, but there was a mix up. Everyone was asked to pick new buffs out of a clay pot. Everyone picked the exact opposite buffs, except for Amber. So, Rob, Tome, Rupert, Alicia and Jenna switch camps. They become Mogo Mogo tribe members. Shi Ann, Lex, Kathy, Jerri and Amber picked Chapera buffs. The new Mogo Mogo members were very upset about losing Amber, especially Rob, and they were not too thrilled about leaving their camp site and moving to the Mogo Mogo camp either. The Immunity Challenge was a question and answer session about the seven previous Survivor episodes. The new Mogo Mogo tribe won by one question. Before the new Chapera tribe left the challenge, Rob said to Lex that if he “looks after Amber,” then Rob would look after Lex. Kathy overheard this, and she and Lex decided to kiss Rob’s butt, and get rid of Jerry. So, Jerry was voted out by a vote of four to one. Jerry voted for Amber.
