Synopsis: Assembled from 1,100 hours of footage filmed over 14 months in New York City, Hooking Up tracks eleven diverse Manhattan women as they attempt to build meaningful relationships through online dating.

Amy, 28, a real-estate broker- "you have to put yourself into position to meet someone."

Claire, 26, an advertising executive for Viagra- "men are like ice cream, vanilla is great, but I want my sprinkles too."

Cynthia, 34, a hair-salon manager- "when a guy lies about something on his profile, it definitely turns me off."

Kelly, 35, a second-grade teacher- "just because I'm not married and in my thirties, it doesn't mean there's something wrong with me."
