Forever Eden Cancelled FOREVER
Posted by DLemma on 2004-06-09

Forever Eden will not be returning this summer as planned. The FOX website currently says the show will return in June, however, that appears not be true. Although FOX had previously planned to bring back the series during the summer, the decision has been made not to air the remaining episodes.

Forever Eden was not forever. FOX has pulled the show. The show was supposed to air for 25 episodes. But, after airing only seven, they pulled the plug. The seventh episode had very poor ratings, after the show was moved to Friday evenings. FOX may decided to re-air the episodes during the summer, since they have already paid for 25 shows. However, FOX has not made any commitments to bring the show back.

The Tree of Truth
Posted by DLemma on 2004-04-10

The drama continued on the latest episode of Forever Eden. Not to long after Michael's departure, Matt took advantage of the opportunity to comfort Kassie. Chris said Wallace has a nice body and Chris confessed to the camera that he is attracted to Wallace (even though he thinks Wallace is not gay). To prove his "manhood" Wallace got physical with Brooke. Wallace started having regrets because he is not in Eden for a relationship. Later, Jordan decided to have a relay race and the losers would be slaves. Matt's team lost and Jordan decided that the men would wear dresses to dinner and the women would wear lingerie. Matt, Chris, and Wallace came to dinner wearing Neveen's dresses and Claudia and Brooke wore their lingerie. The "losers" sat at a separate table and Jordan teased them about their appearance. Matt was a little annoyed. Later, the guests were informed about the "Tree of Truth". Everyone was told to write a question for another guest and that person had to answer truthfully. No big surprise, Liz was asked about the "flat stomach" comment she previously lied about. This time Liz admitted that she said it, however, Kassie didn't seem to care. Next, Wallace was asked if he had a sexual desire to be with Brooke, he said yes. The next question was for Claudia, someone wanted to know who she trusted the least. She did not want to answer, but she said she was most insecure around Brooke. It was then David's turn, he was asked how he knew Brooke and Kassie wanted him banished. He said he was told by Liz and Claudia. Claudia just shook her head and Liz refused to say anything. As expected, after the "Tree of Truth" was done, the men and women started bickering amongst themselves. The most affected by the question and answer session was Claudia. Neveen tried to convince her that is was just a stupid game. Claudia said that "Eden is Evil." Finally at the end of the show, the next guest arrived. The newest addition to Eden was Michelle, a 21 yr old from Brooklyn who just likes to party. Michelle confessed to the camera that she was over-opinionated and doesn't care about hurting other peoples feelings. Michelle also said she was not at Eden to make friends. Michelle is definately going to bring trouble to Eden. Next week, the drama continues.

Forever Eden moves to Friday night
Posted by david on 2004-04-05

Since "Playing It Straight" was cancelled due to poor ratings, FOX decided to move “Forever Eden” to Friday nights at 9:00 E/P. However, Friday evening does not seem to be a good time slot for Reality shows targeting the younger audience, and other shows have failed on Friday night also, e.g., the Mole 2 premiered on a Friday night and was pulled after three episodes by ABC. Now, “Playing is Straight” has also been pulled after three episodes. What makes FOX think that “Forever Eden” will do any better? “Forever Eden” has been struggling in the ratings lately. After premiering with 11 million viewers on March 1, following American Idol Uncut (which has 25 million viewers), the show has been struggling ever since. The fourth episode on Monday, March 15, got only 4.3 million viewers. Now, that “Forever Eden” has been moved to Friday evenings, this could be the writing on the wall for the show. If it continues to perform badly on Friday nights, the show will likely be pulled. Initially, FOX had high hope for the show, ordering 25 episodes.

Jordan returns - Michael is banished.
Posted by DLemma on 2004-04-03

The last episode of Forever Eden was quite busy. Chris aka "Simon the waiter" joined the cast, Jordan returned, and Michael was banished. The cast of Forever Eden was introduced to next guest; someone who had seen and heard everything. Simon the waiter is really Chris, a fitness club manager. Chris was given the Apple and the power to bring back any banished man or woman. Chris had the night to think about his choice, which gave the other men and women the chance to give their opinion about who should return. Meanwhile, he took the opportunity to mingle with everyone and get to know them a little better. He made an immediate impact on everyone. While Neveen was angered by his criticism of her pink pumps, others speculated about his sexual preference. They weren't sure if he was bi-sexual or homosexual. The next morning Chris had made his decision; Jordan returned. Matt was not happy about the decision because he thought it spelled trouble for him. Next, Chris and Jordan were given the power to banish one of the men. As usual, everyone had the opportunity to voice their opinion about who should leave. The possible choices for banishment were narrowed down to; Jason, David and Michael. Jason never quite fit in with the rest, Kassie and Brooke wanted David out because he and Liz have a strong bond that needed to be broken, and Michael requested to leave because he had enough of Eden. After getting opinions from the other guests, Chris and Jordan made their decision. Michael was banished. Before his departure, Michael gave half is coins worth $14,000 to Kassie. Jordan was shocked and visibly upset because he thought Michael would give the coins to him.

Shawna is banished from Eden
Posted by david on 2004-03-25

This week, the women were given the apple and told that it was a good apple. Each woman was to choose a favorite man. But, to spice it up, they introduced another woman into the mix. This blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty was given the first choice of a man. She chose 24 year old David. However, she announced that she had a boyfriend and that she had no intention of hooking up with David. Meanwhile, the other girls started to scramble. The one left without a man would be banished. But, in another twist, at the banishment ceremony, the new girl was given the opportunity to trade David for another man. She chose to trade David for Wallace. This left Shawna out in the cold, because Wallace was her choice. Liz chose David. Kassie chose Matt. Brooke chose Michael. And Neveen had formed an alliance with the new guy, Jason. Shawna also chose the jock, Jason. So, Jason got to choose between Neveen and Shawna. Jason had felt rejected by Shawna, and he knew that Shawna was sweet on Wallace. So, Jason sent Shawna packing. Shawna gave half of her money to Liz.
