Synopsis:
The “Fame” series will chronicle host Debbie Allen’s
attempts to recruit multi-talented performers (ages 16 and
up) from across the country, followed by an intense “boot
camp” drill by Allen. As the group hones its skills
and routines in front of celebrity judges, family and friends,
the field is narrowed. Each week, Ms. Allen will put the cast
members through their paces at her Los Angeles dance academy,
and they will complete new routines with the hope of staying
in the competition. Viewers at home will determine who ultimately
travels the path all the way to “Fame.” Winners
will receive an "instant resume" -- recording and
management contracts, agent representation and a year at the
Debbie Allen Dance Academy, among other opportunities and
prizes.
