Probably thinking more with his heart than with his head, the last woman standing was Samantha Trenk. The final five were Stephanie Cahn, Rachel Goetz, Christine Morell, Amy Worth and Samantha Trenk. Adam narrowed it down to the 24 year old, 2nd grade school teacher from New York, Rachel, and the 24 year old, Barneys sales person, Samantha, also from New York. As the West Coast girls feared, Adam got rid of the West coast beauties, and focused on the girls from New York. Adam’s parents did not think that Samantha was for real. But, his parents fell in love with Rachel. However, Adam was totally infatuated with the confident Samantha. He could not stop kissing Samantha and hugging her. The physical attraction was definitely there for Adam. Rachel was very disappointed and hurt by Adam’s selection. She said, “I was here for the right reasons,” implying that Samantha just wanted to win. Adam was blinded by his love (or lust) for Samantha, and only time will tell if she is really sincere about (in her words) wanting to “hang out with” Adam.

On the second episode, Adam was tempted by a group of models. The average Joe's introduced four or five more women into the mix, and brought them over to Adam's pad in swimsuits. However, Adam was expecting a group date to arrive any minute, and he panicked and asked that the models leave. At the end of episode two, Adam had to eliminate five more. He got rid of Elizabeth, Summer, Anna, Rochelle and Brittany. Brittany had revealed that she had a six year old boy at home. Adam said he was not ready for children. So, it is down to the final ten. Next week, the women view video of Adam kissing all of the girls.
