Synopsis: Randi, a 23-year-old first grade teacher from Scottsdale, Arizona, is bribed $500,000 if she can convince her family to let her marry obnoxious, fat Steve. However, Randi does not know that Steve and Steve's family are actors, who have been hired by the show's producers to give Randi and her family a hard time. Randi thinks that Steve is playing for money too and trying to convince his family that the engagement is real, also. As expected, the family does not respond well to Steve's antics.
This hybrid of a scripted and reality series will cover all the wedding events leading up to a climactic ceremony, including the engagement party, the wedding planner visits, the best friends and family introductions, the bridal shower, the rehearsal dinner and the walk down the aisle – all within the framework of a big practical joke.
