Erin took a chance, as she said "for once in her life, and she chose Chad as her final pick. Chad played with her a bit, but he finally said, "I choose not to take the money." Then, Erin explained that she had been a bachelorette and Rob was the bachelor. She said that she took the money. Then, she said that she gets another million for Chad picking her. Moreover, she told Chad that she was going to split the second million with him. She said, "I don't have to, but I want to. I want to split the million with you because I don't want you to doubt that." Chad simply said, "This is insane." And, then, he kissed her. Erin wrote Chad a check at the end of the show.
Rob was given the chance to convince Erin that he is there for her. However, she was not buying it. Either Rob was not very charming or Erin was not going to take a chance that Rob was there to dis her in return. Erin said that she connected with Chad and not with Wade. Wade agrees that he failed to make a chemistry connection on the last date. Chad begins to suspect that Erin knows about the money, and he strongly suspects that he will have to choose the money OR Erin. So, will Erin play it safe and play Wade for the biggest sap? Or will Erin go for the suspicious Chad, who she seems to have a strong connection? My prediction is that she will choose Wade, and she will hope and pray that Wade is a complete sucker. Of course, Erin will choose the money over Wade.
So, why is Rob returning after Erin totally jilted him on national TV? Apparently Rob is not finished seeking the lime light. He says: "I know, dissed on national TV! (Laughs) 'Cause I really like her, you know? I think it was a weird situation the first time around. I didn't blame her. I don't know what I would have done [in her place]. She hadn't known me that long, and she decided to take the money. I don't hold it against her at all." All I can say is: Rob, you obviously have not been paying attention. You don't know Erin very well, Get ready to get dissed again, you lug.
The previews indicate that one of the guys will be offered cash to leave the show, and he will accept the money. The preview shows Erin asking the guy a question, namely, "Can I ask how much you accepted?" Then, Rob comes back in two weeks (week five). It looks like Rob will become one of the bachelors, competing for Erin. Could it be another Erin-Rob final or will Erin give him the boot in Week 6?

In this final "Rob chapter" of the show, Rob chooses Erin, and Erin chooses the money over Rob. Rob said that he knew that if he had chosen Paige that she would have chosen him. However, he said that he wanted to be with Erin (over Paige). Erin said that she really did not think that Rob was in love with her and that she was not in love with him. Therefore, she chose the money. Rob then told Erin that, if she had chosen him, they would have split the money. Then, he shows Erin a check that is made out to him. In fact, if she had chosen Rob, Rob would have gotten the money--there would not have any sharing of it. Erin said, "Rob, I am sorry... and I still don't know if I have made the right decision, but I guess I will have to live with it." As Rob walks away, he says to Erin, "Good luck." In the end, Rob said that he did not go after the money; rather, he went for "love." But, Erin was not in love with him. Three weeks later, Erin is given "a second chance for love." Erin now slips into Rob shoes. And, 15 men are in the mansion looking for love. If Erin convinces one of them to choose her over the money, she gets $2 million.
In an interview on the Today show, Erin spilled the results to Matt Lauer, this morning. When asked how they make the decision to take the money or Rob, Erin said that it was a question of deciding if this is someone I could see myself dating for a long time, and if not, the money would make more sense. Then, she added, "That is what I based my decision on." Erin has a tendency to misspeak, and this morning, she really put her foot in her mouth. So, it looks like Rob will choose Erin, tonight, over Paige. In an interview last week, Alima, one of the other contestants, said that if Rob chooses Erin, she thinks that Erin will choose the money over Rob. So, it looks like Rob will choose Erin, and Erin will choose the money.
