The last member of the five person pop group is Danielle White from Bradenton, FL. The finla three were A.J. Melendez, Chantel Kohl and Danielle, with Danielle receiving the most votes. The members of the group are Taylor and Tori Thompson from Santa Maria, CA, Chauncey Matthews from San Diego, CA, Lucy Hale from Memphis, TN and Danielle White from Bradenton, FL.


American Juniors Single to be released August 12

The debut single from Fox's "American Juniors" will be released Tuesday (Aug. 12) via Jive Records. The commercial release will feature the reality series/talent show's 10 finalists singing the Cathy Dennis-written song "One Step Closer." Also included will be two mixes of the American Juniors performing a cover of Kim Wilde's 1982 hit "Kids in America."


Lucy Hale is voted into the group.

Lucy Hale & Chantel Kohl were the last two remaining when Ryan Seacrest announced the Lucy Hale was the fourth member of the group. There is only one more spot left, and seven finalist will compete next week for the final spot in the group.


Chauncey Matthews makes it into the group

On July 23 show, Chauncey Matthews was the next contestant to make it into the group. As of right now, the group consists of Chauncey Matthews, Taylor Thompson and Tori Thompson. There are two more contestants remaining to be selected for a total of five in the group.

Last Tuesday night, American voted for their favorites, but only one of the talented cuties was able to advance: TAYLOR THOMPSON, who sang "Proud Mary." Next week, the rest of the nine mad-talented munchkins -- CHANTEL KOHL, JORDAN McCOY, LUCY HALE, Taylor's sister TORI THOMPSON, A.J. MELENDEZ, MORGAN BURKE, KATELYN TARVER, DANIELLE WHITE or CHAUNCEY MATTHEWS -- will return to compete for the second chance to advance to the final five.


Judges announced for American Juniors

Fox announced that it had chosen judges for American Juniors, which launched earlier this month and began weekly performances Tuesday night. The weekly performances run from 8-9 p.m. E/P. Tuesdays followed by a telephone/Internet vote that will be revealed between 8:30-8 p.m. E/P Wednesday. The judges are pop stars Gladys Knight and Deborah Gibson. The first guest judge is Justin Guarini, the 24-year-old Atlanta singer who was the runner-up on the first American Idol.


American Juniors, the #1 rated reality TV show last week

For the week of June 2-8, American Juniors on FOX was the top-rated reality TV show with 11.9 million viewers. In second place was For Love Or Money on NBC with 10.2 million viewers. Fame on NBC came in third with 9.9 million viewers. American Juniors was the 10th most popular TV show for the week. Both American Juniors and For Love Or Money beat out 60 minutes and 60 Minutes II, last week.
