Synopsis:
A beautiful, single woman will court 20 bachelors in latex
masks. The men must rely strictly on their personalities
to captivate her. Each man will be disguised throughout
the dating process, keeping his looks hidden. While our
beautiful bachelorette will not see the appearance of the
men she is dating, viewers will be able to see what they
look like. The only opportunity the bachelorette has to
get a rough idea of what her suitors look like is if she
takes them downstairs into what producers are calling "the
dark room." In this pitch-black area of the house,
the woman is allowed to remove her suitor's mask and feel
his face. The room is rigged with infrared cameras and microphones.
During the first two days, the bachelorette will quickly
eliminate ten of the men, reducing the number of bachelors
to ten remaining. At that time, the remaining bachelors
will move in together to live on an estate in Malibu for
three weeks. Also, at that time, the remaining bachelors
will trade in their original pewter-colored, Greco-Roman
masks and hoods for new masks, each one a different color
- so that the young woman may tell them apart. As
the series progresses, the single woman will ultimately
narrow her choice to one man. Monica Lewinsky will host
the new, five week series.
