Kathy Griffin, Erik von Detten, and Frederique competed in the final two games of Mole 3, adding $82,000 to the winner's prize. Suspicion focused on Kathy as she appeared to sabotage the "Three Questions" game by answering Frederique to all the questions without reading them. She also stalled before eventually retrieving $25,000 from the bottom of a swimmming pool. But Frederique also seemed to have been quietly stalling while searching for clues in the "It Takes a Thief" Game. The remaining three players took the final quiz, but one of them is the Mole and was not taking it for real. On February 12, the four evicted players will return to see the Mole revealed and the winner walk off with a $233,000 prize. Who is the Mole, and who will win the pot?

Relationships are strained as players are asked to imitate each other at dinner. This is the last opportunity the mole has to sabatage the game and players realize trust is gone with or without previous coalitions.

Erik apparently saved himself from execution in Episode 4 because he was convinced that Michael Boatman was the mole and Erik would have fingered him in the quiz. But Michael is not the Mole because he was executed. Or was it all an act? Could Erik be the Mole? The players won no money for the pot this week as Kathy failed at surfing while Michael and Erik hula danced to "Tiny Bubbles." Erick won his exemption by completing a game of concentration with giant cards before the others found him.

Kim Coles, the first to be evicted from Celebrity Mole Hawaii, was tired after a busy schedule in New York just prior to her debut on the Mole, and she was ready to go home. Kim was not a fan of reality TV shows and had not seen either of the first two Moles. Her desire to be on the show spawned after she watched a tape someone had sent.
