Love Shack has been put on hold till midseason. It was originally set to bow on Aug. 26, but with other summer entries such as Dog Eat Dog performing better than expected, network executives decided they could wait on Love Shack. "We've had a lot of success this summer, and frankly, don't need it," said Jeff Gaspin, executive VP of alternative series, specials, longform and program strategy. "We want to start concentrating on promoting our fall shows," he said. "Promoting a show so close to the fall season would have been tough."
