Aaron Buerge and Helene Eksterowicz are using eBay to auction off the 2 & 1/2-carat diamond ring Buerge gave to Eksterowicz on the show's finale in Fall 2002. The couple, who broke up shortly thereafter, are asking $17,500 for the Harry Winston rock - valued at $29,000. "It's a joint business venture," Eksterowicz told The Post. "Aaron contacted me on a personal note in December, via e-mail, and I e-mailed him back and said, 'Can't we just settle this and work out an agreement out of court?'" Eksterowicz and Buerge, who bought the ring with his own money, will split the proceeds.

Aaron Buerge, the 28-year-old banker from Springfield, Mo., is no longer engaged. He proposed to Helene Eksterowicz at the end of the second season of "The Bachelor" to a record audience. But, it was not meant to be. In the Feb. 17 issue of People magazine, Aaron said that the engagement was over by New Year's. "There has not been any dagger throwing," Buerge said, adding that neither had been unfaithful. He said that he and Eksterowicz, a 27-year-old school psychologist from Gloucester City, N.J., stay in touch by e-mail, and will explain why the romance died on a Feb. 20 ABC special.

And the winner is...Helene. After introducing Brooke and Helen to his parents in his hometown of Springfield, MO., Aaron chose Helene over Brooke. He even went as far as to spend his own hard earned cash to buy her the rock. Of course, Helene accepted his hand in marriage, and they will live happily ever after.

Gwen told Aaron that she had been married before and the marriage lasted for a year. Aaron seemed to take the news well, but apparently, this was enough to dissuade him. So, Aaron offers a rose to Helene and to Brooke. He also told Gwen that the reason that he did not pick her because "love is a strange thing." When asked if he was falling in love, he shook his head "yes." Looks like he is falling for Helene.

Angela is the latest casuality on The Bachelor. An RN from Kansas City, MO, Aaron was not impressed with her family. So, now, it is down to Brooke, Gwen and Helene.
