The second season of the Anna Nicole Show came to an end, last week. But, it looks like she will return for a third season. Even though the show was not a smashing hit for E, it was nevertheless a big enough hit for them to want another season. The fiery Texas blonde drew about one million viewers per week during the second season. It seems that the show was getting rather predictable. The formula seems to be that Anna Nicole goes on an outing (either to a bar, out on a date, shopping and so on), and she ends up throwing a tantrum and making a spectacle of herself. It seems that viewers are less and less amused at Anna Nicole's antics.

The Unauthorized biography of Anna Nicole Smith will Air May 4th at 10pm on Showtime. The biography has interviews with family and friends from her small Texas town as well as a promised "reunion" with a family member who is flown out to LA. * I saw a preview for this last night on Showtime, and even though I don't frquently watch Anna Nicole Smith, this looks like "must see tv" to me!

For the season premiere, 7.6 million viewers tuned in for Episode 1 and just under 6.4 million for Episode 2, according to E! Entertainment Television. The show received a lot of scathing reviews, and I must say that Anna Nicole might be the female counterpart to Ozzy--what an airhead! But, while overall viewership fell from Week 1 to Week 2, the number of younger viewers actually increased - from a 3.5 rating in the 18-34 age group in Week 1 to a 3.7 in Week 2.
