Synopsis: As 22 people (11 teams to two) race around the world, they'll face a series of mental and physical hurdles before they can move on to the next destination. They will not have the aid of cell phones, and they are allowed to carry only a limited amount of cash. Air travel will be restricted, so they will have to travel by buses, trains, taxis, bicycles, camels and so on. Only when all tasks have been completed will they find out where they are going next. At eight points throughout the race, the last team to arrive will be eliminated. The race starts in New York City, and the team that comes back to New York first wins $1 million--it's a 25,000-mile global journey. It is estimated that the race will take 30 to 40 days.
