The final
results are in. Carla
and Lando are the big winners. They win $100,000
and a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. Carla and Lando got a ship
to Tokyo. From Tokyo, they got Northwest Air buddy passes
from a Northwest employee. They were able to use the buddy
passes to fly to New York, with a three-day stop over in
Hawaii.
Celeste
and Tami came in second place, one day behind
Carla and Lando. They boarded the same ferry to Tokyo that
Carla and Lando took, but they boarded it four days behind
Carla and Lando. However, upon arriving in Tokyo, they got
to the airport and raised a lot of money panhandling. They
were able to catch a direct flight to New York, but they
arrived one day behind the winners.
Courtland
and Joe were in first place when the arrived
in Moscow. However, Joe self destructed when he and Courtland
could not find a place to stay in Moscow. So, Joe decided
to quit the race. Joe called a Lost producer on a cell phone
and quit.
