July 21, 2001. It appears that Shannon is passive aggressive and that she spitefully does a lot of things behind the backs of people. Last week, she put a bag of potato chips on Autumn's bed. On Friday night, July 20, Shannon gets back at Hardy for nominating her by taking his electric toothbrush and cleaning the toilet with it.

When Will and Shannon were nominated by Hardy, Shannon said that she would be willing to leave the house so that Will could stay. But, she was not happy about Hardy's nominations.

On Friday evening, Shannon got into a verbal sparring match with Hardy calling him a "coward" for nominating her and Will. According to Shannon, Hardy nominated her and Will because he is "jealous" of their relationship. In her mind, Hardy is jealous because, in the past, his relationships have had a tendency not to work out. Then, Shannon told Hardy that everyone in the house could use the playing cards she brought with her. That is, everybody except Hardy.

Shannon could be facing eviction from the house based on the rule against destroying property. But, on Saturday morning, when Shannon was confronted by BigBrother about ruining Hardy's toothbrush, she acted like it was not a very big deal. She said in a matter of fact tone, "Yeah, sorry, I shouldn't have done it. I had a lot of animosity towards Hardy, but that's over with, as of last night. We're gonna kill him with kindness now."

Since BigBrother was going to have to replace Hardy's toothbrush, BigBrother forced Shannon to tell Hardy about the toothbrush. However, on Friday night, Shannon did not come clean. Rather, she lied and said she knocked the toothbrush to the floor while reaching for something else and it broke. Later, Hardy asked her what she was reaching for, and Shannon said "the curling iron." However, Hardy knew something was up, and he said, "You never curl your hair." Shannon did not respond to Hardy's comment.

On Saturday morning, Hardy was invited to the Diary Room and was told that Shannon broke his toothbrush on purpose. BigBrother did not tell him that she cleaned the toilet with it, only that she broke it. Hardy came out of the Diary Room and told the rest of the house, "She did it on purpose! They just confirmed it. Why else would they get me a whole new toothbrush? That doesn't just break, falling from three feet. Now you know who you have in here, better watch your back!"

Shannon signed a contract before she went into the house to abide by certain rules. One of the rules was against the destruction of property. It appears that Shannon was given a stern warning. However, since this was her first warning or her first offense, the consensus is that there will not be any further action.
