NO DEENA DON’T GO!
She Said Ep. 9/ By Scrtprncs
Tonight’s episode mainly discussed the triangle of power Deena and Rob thought they had over the rest of the group. CBS though, showed us the dissent amongst the troops, mainly the Jenna, Heidi, Alex alliance which seems to be pulling ahead of the Deena/Rob Alliance. My question is, where do Christy and Butch fit into all of this? Both alliances view them as the bottom of their “Chains” but I have a feeling there is another alliance that is super secret, that we won’t find out about for a few more episodes. Say, a super secret alliance with Matthew, Christy, Butch and possibly Rob if they can bring him over.
This week’s reward challenge was a game of skill, using traditional Brazilian hunting tools. The best quote of the night came when it was Heidi Hoe’s turn at the Blow-darts, when she stated “I’m supposed to put my mouth around that?” Come on Heidi! You’re not fooling anyone here! You’re mouth has been around worse things than a blow dart!
In this game of skill, Alex and Matthew proved to be the strongest players. Alex won the competition and instead of taking Matthew with him, chooses Jenna instead. The reward, coffee and cookies and an afternoon alone. Back at camp Deena decides that Alex is too strong and needs to take him out over Matthew. Heidi runs back to Jenna who now has a budding romance with Alex and they scramble to get Deena voted off instead.
Immunity challenge. When is there not a bug eating competition in Survivor? Last night our castaways were served up delicious samples of: beetle, maggots, crickets, and the piece de resistance: A live larvae. EWWW is all I have to say. One by one the castaways gag and puke their way out of the competition. The final 2 Deena and Matthew. Deena refuses to eat the live little bug, and Matthew wins Immunity.
Tribal Council, Deena gets voted off with only three votes going to Matthew: hers, Robs, and Christy’s. Did anyone else notice that Alex wrote Deena’s name Capitol “D” een Capitol A ( for D.A.- as Deena is a District Attorney). Thought that was very interesting. Rob looked like he was about to cry. Oh, poor arrogant baby lost his alliance! Better scramble Rob! Looks to me like you’re head is next for the chopping block.
