"3 Tribes, 2 Tribal Councils And 1 Wimpy Quitter!”

Not to be topped by a solitary Amy rejoining Big Brother 3 after being voted out, Survivor brought back all 6 previous evictees to compete as a third tribe (The self-named “Outcasts”) against Morgan and Drake, giving two Outcasts a chance to re-enter the game with guaranteed immunity for one tribal council.
And it was a chance that they didn’t let get away from them as the grim-faced, determined Outcasts beat both the Drakes and the Morgans in a cage rescue/get-keys-with-a-pole challenge like we’ve seen before (think Shii-Ann in Survivor: Thailand). “Revenge, baby,” as Outcast Michelle put it was sweet and both Drake and Morgan had to each go to tribal council and each lose a tribe member.
In return, the Outcasts will “vote in” two of their 6 members and one each will join the Drake and Morgan tribes but that will be revealed next episode. This episode saw the exit of both Shawn and Osten, unanimously.
Shawn campaigned hard to stay while Osten wimped out, begging his tribe to send him home and visibly irritating Jeff Probst with his loser attitude who tersely sent this crybaby on his way without a vote, after publicly polling the Morgan members.
Osten, Pearl Islands’ Mr_Pessimistic, said he was “CLEARLY out of my element”, with his mind and body shutting down. Like Jeff said, he will be replaced by someone who wants to be in the game.
Not surprisingly, neither Drake nor Morgan are looking forward to what Andrew called “misfits” returning to compete. Both tribes’ shocked looks at the challenge were in stark contrast to the angry, scowling faces of the Outcasts.
Were the Outcasts coached by Mark Burnett to look as ruthlessly revengeful as possible for the cameras? Or were they just sick and tired of their low rations of rice, fruit and protein? My God, Lillian and Skinny Ryan had the most unhappy frowns for people who were getting a second, totally unheard of, shot at a million dollars.
Andrew urged Morgan to vote whoever came back off at the very first tribal council. Ryan pointed out that the returnee would have immunity for that council proving that Andrew is a bad listener, which prompted some interesting observations from Tijuana and which may be an indicator of trouble on down the road for Andrew.
Morgan, in spite of Rupert teaching Ryan how to spear-fish, is still going hungry. Why is this tribe so inept and helpless? Andrew, once again, laments the need for protein and that he “can’t imagine having our own fish.” Ryan wants Rupert back. Pathetic.
Drake, on the other hand, saw Rupert giving an excellent imitation of Survivor: Africa’s Lex when he yelled “Who the hell voted for me?” causing Jon to confess. Jon stood up to Rupert and the two men eventually reconciled although Rupert doesn’t trust Jon.
Jon and Shawn, supposed allies, had yet another, very public, argument, this time while frying coconut which makes it taste just like popcorn, over Shawn’s laziness. Each voted against the other at Tribal Council, with Jon uttering an obscenity when he cast his vote. Shawn was evicted unanimously.
The two tribal council votes left both tribes with four members each. Each tribe has a firm three-member alliance with the fourth person being a potential floater presently only loosely affliated with the trio-------Rupert, Sandra and Christa with Jon as Drake’s floater and……………Andrew, Ryan and Tijuana with Darrah as Morgan’s floater.
As was seen at an early challenge the two floaters, Jon and Darrah did not hit it off (Darrah said Jon could never be her boyfriend) so it would seem that the two new Outcast members, whoever they might be, can potentially be the power-brokers by playing on existing divisions.
Both Outcasts have immunity at the next tribal council so they may possibly ally (the two tribes will be merging into one super-tribe) and draw the isolated duo of Darrah and Jon into a 4-way alliance that is numerically superior to both the Drake Trio and the Morgan Trio, dividing and conquering.
Obviously lots of bonding had been going on with the Outcasts as both ex-Morgans and ex-Drakes hugged each other at their challenge victory. If the two returning Outcasts ally, together they know all the secrets of both Drake and Morgan and can exploit this knowledge in their favor to come up with a very viable alliance that could trump any other alliance. This Survivor gets more and more interesting.
