Big Brother 5: It
Posted by becky578 on 2004-08-06
Welcome to another live show, Big Brother fans! Julie greets us and reminds us for the first time of SEVERAL that this is the big night when the twin twist will be revealed to the other House Guests. Adria and Natalie have traded a total of ten times since the game began and now have earned the right to both enter the house and compete individually.
Scott and Marvin, as you remember, are on the block this week due to Jase using the Golden Power of Veto and saving himself from eviction. With Scott still up, though, the Four Horsemen are questioning their future in the game. Marvin says he's been ready to go since he entered the house. Marvin and Scott both work Diane, each trying to win her over in hopes she'll encourage her alliance to vote out the other. Diane tells Marvin she's no one's puppet. Diane and Adria talk about who will go. Adria says she doesn't owe anyone anything.
The Horsemen pull Adria into the bathroom to remind her that she does, in fact, owe them since they saved her the week before. They want a straight answer from her about how she will vote. Nakomis, Karen, Diane and Will were on the hammock talking to her and realize what's happening in the house. So Diane gets up and joins the merry gang in the bathroom. The Four Horsemen tell Diane that this conversation has nothing to do with her. Adria is telling Scott that she loves him. The boys put the pressure on and Adria freaks out! She starts yelling about how this is not a good time to talk to her about this.
Both alliances are now thinking that Adria will vote to keep Scott. They all realize that she is the swing vote. The Girl Power Alliance talk about how upset they will be if Adria double crosses them.
Julie checks in with the House Guests. She asks some usual questions. She asks Will if he knew that this would get so intense so soon. She asks Jase what's wrong with him since he's acting so crazy lately. Jase says he got a reality check when he was put up for eviction and has decided to make some good TV. Julie says that he certainly is. Julie asks Adria how the last week has been since she escaped eviction. Adria says that every day in the house is blessing and she's playing the game with some crazy people and some good people. Julie asks Karen what it's like to be one of the only married House Guests. Karen says she gets to share a bed with the women or the gay guy. She says she's not sure about the relationship between Scott and Cowboy and everyone laughs.
Some votes from the diary room: Jase and Cowboy vote to evict Marvin. Karen and Nakomis vote to evict Scott.
They do a family segment with Ben and Lindsay, twins of Drew and Diane. Lindsay says she's the good twin. Diane and Lindsay seem to be very opposite. She doesn't know about the relationship with Drew and Diane. She knows Diane really likes him, but thinks Drew is too good for her. She says that Diane's weakness will be her big mouth and that she tries to act too tough.
Ben thinks that Drew and Diane are playing their relationship very well. He felt bad for Drew when he was HOH, but was pumped that Drew stood up for Jase.
Both Ben and Lindsay know that Drew and Diane will be shocked when the twist is revealed, but that they both will think it's kind of cool.
Julie talks privately with Diane in the HOH room. Diane is happy to be the first female HOH. She does feel dumb about her veto mistake and she feels upset that she didn't know about the spy screen before. She hopes her relationship with Drew continues and hopes that anyone but Cowboy or Jase wins HOH tonight.
More votes from the diary room: Will votes to evict Scott. Drew votes to evict Marvin. And Adria stalls and they go to commercial.
Julie gives Scott and Marvin a chance to say any last words. Scott thanks his family and friends first of all. He emphasizes that he likes women, but then in the next breath he thanks Cowboy for all the neat bathtime. He tells Jase and Drew that he loves them. He tells them all to remember teh Savage.
Marvin says "Ditto." Everyone laughs. Marvin says it's been fun and to everyone who voted to evict him: if the good die young, you will live forever.
The results are in. By a vote of 4-3, Scott is evicted from the Big Brother House. He is shocked. Jase starts yelling that it's on!
After Scott leaves, Jase goes off by himself to one of the bedrooms. He puts on his sunglasses, takes off his shirt, and starts lifting weights. He says it's the ultimate betrayal.
Scott tells Julie that the Four Horsemen thought they had control of the house, but really they let the power go to their heads. Julie points out that if he had voted to keep Holly, her vote could have saved him. She calls Scott to the carpet on his lies. Scott said he did it as strategy. He regrets it because he became close with a lot of the people in the house and the Bible and he realizes that what he did was wrong.
He has the typical goodbye messages. The last one is from Jase who tells him it's his own fault he's gone because he voted Holly out and she could have saved him. Scott misunderstands and thinks that Jase voted against him in revenge. Julie clarifies what Jase meant.
His final message is from the twins. He's initially shocked, but then says he knew something was up because their eyes looked different. Julie explains the process briefly and that the others will find out. Scott says he wants to bust down the door and tell them. He says Jase will freak out and that the twins will probably be voted out quickly.
Natalie is preening in the Diary Room, getting ready to enter the house. Julie tells the waiting House Guests that the HOH competition will be a game of observation. She'd like to start with a practice question for Diane. She asks how many House Guests have been playing the game from the beginning. Diane says, "Thir--thirteen." Julie tells her she's wrong. It's fourteen. Diane is confused. Everyone else is, too. Julie tells the House Guests there has been a set of twins switching in and out since week one. Everyone is stunned. They start trying to figure it out. Drew is motioning that it's not him. Michael thinks it must be Holly. Others agree. Jase guesses that Scott has a twin. Julie continues to explain the twist and how it worked. Finally, Julie stops talking and there is a tense moment before the diary room opens and Natalie walks out. Everyone starts yelling, clapping, laughing and hugging both twins. Adria says, "So I did not make a promise to Scott--I'm sorry!"
It's time for HOH! It is a game of observation, as promised. Each House Guest has his or her own booth and will answer true or false questions about the house.
Q: There are four light blue barstools in the kitchen.
A: False. There are three.
Everyone gets it right.
Q: There are four bowls hanging on the lime green wall.
A: False. There are three.
Natalie actually got this question wrong, but Julie did not count it for some reason. Cowboy, Drew, Marvin and Jase are all eliminated.
Q: The flowers on the wood room dresser are purple.
A: True.
Natalie is now eliminated.
Q: Actoss from the Memory Wall, there is a sculpture of an apple.
A: False
No one is eliminated.
Q: There are 8 noses on the face sculpture.
A: True.
Nakomis wins HOH!
Julie checks in to see how everyone is doing with the twin thing.
Natalie tells the others that she has been in the game since the first day. She hopes they embrace the name "Natalie" entering the house, but that they realize she's been there all along with Adria.
Will says he almost caught on because he noticed the birthmark one has. Karen says she noticed the birthmark as well and is disappointed she did not catch on. She thinks one of the twins talks faster.
Natalie says he nose is a little different because was ripped off when she was a kid and had to be sewn back on.
