Live Show Summary 7/15
Posted by becky578 on 2004-07-16
We are greeted by the lovely Julie Chen (ugh). Project DNA continues in the house. A set of twins have been switching places since the second day in the house. Later we will find out who it is.

We see footage of the four horsemen. Jase comments on his leadership position. He thinks he's the master of the house. Michael tells the Diary Room that the four horsemen are looking out for Jennifer. Marvin thinks Jennifer could be targeted because she has a brother in the house. Marvin doesn't think it's fair. Jennifer says she's playing two alliances--horsemen and "chicks." Will observes that Jennifer seems to be a floater and that he'd be just fine if Jennifer walked out the door.

Isn't that sweet--Holly made lunch for Jase. Lori is baffled by the Holly/Jase relationship. She says they are really annoying. Jase and Holly cuddling in the backyard, looking like he's giving her a hicky The others are weary of their "friendship."

Mike talks more about the Jase/Scott alliance. They are the biggest threat. Lori talks to Mike, Mike tries to convince her that the horsemen, Holly and Jennifer are all threats. Lori says she kind of likes Mike and isn't convinced he's the one who should go. Mike hopes the ideas he has planted will take root. Jase and Scott talk about the vote possibly being unanimous. They think the horsemen will make it to the end.

Julie checks in with the House Guests. They sound really excited. Julie talks to Michael--wonders how he feels about Jennifer maybe leaving the house. Michael says they've talked and know that they will talk outside of the house. Jennifer looks pretty nervous.

Julie talks to Lori about her taking the $10K at the food challenge. Lori says she was worried in the beginning but that everyone is now really supportive.

Julie asks Scott about the guys being pretty high maintenance in the looks department. Scott says yes, the guys are more high maintenance than the women.

Julie says goodbye to the house guests and tells us that we will see the twins switch places live later in the show.

Scott, Marvin, Lori and Holly share their thoughts as they vote. Have negative things to say about each of the nominees. No definite votes on this one.

When Michael and Jennifer were first chosen, their parents had no idea about the connection. They found out right before the show. We see an interview with Michael's mom and newly found father.

Guy Dedmon wants to tell Big Brother thank you. He's always wanted a son. Now he realizes he has one. He wishes he had known about him sooner. Michael's mom, Christine Lee, is happy that Michael has a sister.

We see footage of the parents watching the show. Christine says that when she and Guy were dating, they talked about having kids and Guy didn't want to have to bring a child into the world that would have to go to war. He would just die if he knew that one of his offspring had to go to war. I'm not sure what this has to do with anything, but maybe that's her justification for not finding Guy to tell him that she was pregnant? Christine hopes Jennifer will appreciate Michael. Guy talks about similarities he sees between Michael and Jennifer--energetic, positive people.

Christine seems genuinely happy that Michael gets this chance to have another family. Guy hopes Michael wants to expand this relationship.

Karen, Adria, and Drew get ready to cast their votes. They also have comments about both of them. Adria says nothing negative about Jennifer and we don't see any of her comments about Mike.

Julie talks to Jase about being first HOH. Asks Jase why he didn't tell anyone besides the horsemen about the screen. Jase says he'll have to pretend he didn't know about it after the next Head of Household competition. He really likes being HOH, but some people weren't being so real because he was HOH. He's looking forward to really getting to know the other HGs without his HOH status. Jase plans to lay low for the next six weeks (I'll believe it when I see it!).

Will, Diane, and Michael share their thoughts. They, as well, have things to say about each player. Diane would loves to keep Mike around because he would stand by her. Michael says he doesn't want to vote Jennifer off, that would be a hard decision, but he's playing the game for his fiancee and son, so if he had to, he would.

Mike and Jennifer have their opportunities to say final words. Mike loves all these guys and they are great people and he's glad he had the opportunity.
Jennifer also loves them and wants to hang out with them outside the house. It's an awesome experience.

The first HG evicted is: Mike. The vote was unanimous.

Mike says: Someone could have thrown me one vote! Mike hugs a few people, tells them good luck, and heads out of the house.

Inside the house, people hug Jennifer and everyone is smiling.

Julie interviews Mike. She asks why he thinks he was the first evicted HG. Mike thinks there was just a series of misunderstandings betwen he and Jase. Julie wonders why he didn't try to swing votes. Mike says that he would like to go home. He misses his family. He's not surprised he's evicted. The best thing about being in the house was Marvin. He's a hoot.

We see the usual cheesy messages from the house guests. Scott says that Mike had to go because he kept telling everyone he was the strongest player in the game--he was right!

Mike doesn't think the others will get rid of Scott and Jase, who he thinks are the strongest alliance he's ever seen on the show.

I wish we could have seen Mike's face when Julie did the teaser at the end of her interview--find out which hg has been playing the game with their identical twin.

It's time for the HOH competition. The competition is called "Marjority Rules." Every House Guest (except Jase) is standing in their own booth. They must give opinions of other HGs. The majority opinion will win. Those who respond with the less popular answer will be out of the game.

1. Who looks at himself in the mirror more. Scott or Jase? Majority votes Scott.
Will, Adria, Scott and Drew are gone.

2. Who would they rather receive mouth to mouth resucitation from, Diane or Drew? Marjority votes Drew. Diane got it wrong.

3. Who hates PB and J more, Marvin or Jennifer? Majority answered red for Marvin. Karen and Jennifer are eliminated.

4. Who would they rather have babysit their kids, Scott or Holly? It's a tie!

5. Who does the majority think is the best cook? Marvin or Karen? Majority thinks Marvin. Everyone got it.

6. Who would write a better love poem, Will or Jennifer? It's a tie.

Tiebreaker question: They must write answers. Person closest without going over is new HOH. This is between Marvin, Cowboy, Holly and Lori.

Total number of yellow food balls grabbed during the last food challenge?
Answer: 100
Marvin wins HOH! He guessed 81.

Time to reveal the twin twist. They have switched only three times. Here's how it works: Every few days, one twin goes into the diary room and the other comes out. The twin on the outside lives in total seclusion and follow a similar schedule as the house guests--including the PB and J diet. This twin has no idea what's going on inside the BB house.

If they make it halfway through the summer without discovery, they will be awarded by both going into the house and playing individually. The other HGs have speculated about the twin thing. Diane and Drew have both revealed they have twins. But no one has figured anything out.

The twin that is switching is Adria. She has a twin sister named Natalie. We see Adria and Natalie exchanging information and clothes. They only have fifteen minutes to make the switch.

Natalie says the emotional side is hard on her--she can't wear her own wedding ring, people call her Adria. Adria talks about how demanding it is--she doesn't want to let Natalie down.

Natalie is in the backyard. Adria is in the DR. Julie talks to her live. Adria says he goal is to not get discovered. No one is focusing on them right now. No one has caught on yet. Adria says they're pretty tuned into each other. There have been a couple of close calls.

Adria and Natalie are wearing identical outfits and trading microphones. Adria heads out the door. Natalie says, "What were your verses" or something like that. Adria says, "Verses?" Heads out the door. Out of time. We don't see anything of her going to join the others.
