November 8 Show Summary

The second episode began with a random drawing of dates for the men and the women. Here is how it stacked up:
John --> Anna Maria
Tony --> Donna
Edmundo --> Hillary
Tommy --> Kristin S.
Shannon --> Kaine
Genevieve --> Kevin
Catherine --> Oscar
Nicole --> Jeff

Then, the guys got to kick off one of the guys. The ones who will go home will be the lucky ones chosen for a date (Anna Marie, Donna, Hillary or Kristin S. and Kaine, Kevin, Oscar or Jeff). The guys picked Oscar to be eliminated. They said it was because he was the Latin lover type. The girls chose to eliminate Anna Maria.

As a result of loosing their dates, John and Catherine would get to hang out with the rest of the singles.

Next, we follow the dates along to see how they are making out. Everyone seems to be having a good time and making connections with their dates. The one exception is John, who sleeps half of the day. Several of the girls seemed to resent John hiding out in his room for several hours.

After their dates, the next day, the girls went to a swimming hole with all of the guys. The girls, sitting on top of the guys shoulders, played a wrestling game in the water. This allowed for lots of body contact.

As couples begin to form, two or three seem to merit attention. First, Tommy and Kristin S. seem to be making a connection. Second, Tom delivers a letter to Catherine, saying that he really digs her. Catherine is very impressed. Also, Shannon sees a lot of promise in Kaine, and she comments that unlike her partner, Kaine is going places.
