Day 18, The Bonfire
The show begins with the bonfire ritual on the girl's side of the island. The girls are invited to see their boyfriends when they are not aware that they were being filmed. Shannon goes first, and she watches John's video with Nayla. John and Nayla are in John's bed, and Shannon says that Nayla looked upset. So, Shannon is not too upset. Catherine watches Edmundo. Catherine says that she is upset because her boyfriend is coming off looking like an idiot. But, Catherine is numb emotionally. Kelly watches Mark in a hammock with Debbie. They are making out. Kelly does not seem to be too disturbed. She says that making out on the island is acceptable and that she expected it. Nikkole, of course, watches Tommy. It seems like they always save the best for last. Nikkole looks very surprised to see Tommy making out in his bed with a woman, probably, Kristen S. Kristen was only wearing a towel. Tommy takes off his shorts so that he is in his underwear. Nikkole's reaction is that she is sure that Tommy is about to sleep with someone. And, she said, "That's fine because I have made a connection with someone on my side of the island, too." Nikkole says, "Tommy is about to have sex with someone, and I feel fine with it." Shannon claims that she saw Tommy reaching over to the nightstand and picking up a rubber. I think that Shannon is seeing things.

After the bonfire, they show the men's resort. Edmundo seems very upset. He saw Catherine in a passionate kiss with Brian. Tommy is also very upset. He says the video that he saw was very disturbing. Tommy saw single guy Tommy on top of Nikkole, making out heavily in Nikkole's bed. Tommy seems to be having a hard time with Nikkole's indiscretion. John tells Tommy that he should not choose to be with the hottest chick for his final date, John says, "That will just make it rougher on you."

Mark, the host, announces at the women's and the men's resort that there will be no more bonfires until the final bonfire. So, no more videos until the end, so feel free to let loose.

Catherine and Brian head to the beach. Brian starts trying to convince Catherine that she should not be with Edmundo. Brian confronts her heavily, and Catherine gets upset. She says, "I'm not going to make a decision about whether or not to leave Edmundo right now, so lay off." Brian seems to be having a little trouble with the idea of sleeping with someone else's girlfriend. So, he wants a declaration from her that she has left him. Brian reflects on the confrontation and says that he is afraid that he pissed her off.

On the men's side of the island, they let loose. They dance, drink and have fun. Debbie gets some of the girls to go skinny dipping in the ocean. Later, Caneel, Kristen and Amanda show up naked in Edmundo's and Tommy's cabin. They hang out for a while, flirt and then leave. Mark and Debbie hang out in the ocean and then make out in Debbie's bed. Mark seems to think that he has more of a bond with Debbie than he does with Kelly, his girlfriend.

Back at the women's resort, Tommy gets naked and jumps in the swimming pool. Meanwhile, Kelly and Ali seem to be hitting it off. They are spending a lot of time together, and they make out in a hammock.

Day 19
The mood is tense. All of the single's pack their bags because today is the day that half of them will leave. There are a lot of tears shed.

Now, it is time for the final date selections. Edmundo goes first. He chooses Linda. He says that she has become a really close friend. Mark goes next. He chooses Debbie. He says that he never would have thought that he would connect with someone like this. Tommy chooses next. Tommy says that he has had a change of heart. He says something like "I have been on the bottom before, I know how it feels, so I am going to help her out." Strange. Tommy chooses Katie out of pity. Katie said that she was surprised. Kristen sheds a tear. Next, John chooses Nayla. He says that Nayla has been very supportive.

Next, it is time for the girls to select their single guys. Catherine goes first. But, you have to tune in next week to see their selections. Until next week.
