The show opens on the night of day nine, when the couples are just returning from the bonfire ritual. The big question is, "What happened to Genevieve & Tony?" Everyone is still in the dark. Finally the begin to figure out that Genevieve & Tony have left the island--their clothes being missing from their rooms was a big clue.

Another major issue was the girls' reaction to their partners' video. Catherine is taking it pretty hard. Shannon is trying to remain cheerful, but Catherine and Nikkole are hurt by what they saw. Catherine keeps calling the girls on the other side of the island whores; Nikkole agrees.

Finally, when they realize that Genevieve has left the island, Nikkole and the single men celebrate. Nikkole recounts how Genevieve was poisoning the group, and the single men all chime in and say how glad they are that the witch is gone.

A New Couple
Next, comes a big surprise. Mark, the host, announces that a new couple will be added to the mix. And, he introduces Mark to the single girls and the gang. Mark and Kelly are from Florida. Mark has earrings in both ears and a snake tattoo on his left shoulder. He is a police officer, and Kelly is a bartender. The gang welcomes the new guy to the group.

The women and single men are equally surprised when Mark announces that a new girl will be added to their group. Mark introduces the new girl, Kelly. She is an attractive brunette with large breasts, and she seems to be outgoing. The girls don't seem to excited to see her, but the single guys "looked like dogs in heat."

The host interviews Mark and Kelly, and Mark reveals that it was his idea to come on the show. He said it is every guys dream to be single again for a week or two. Kelly said that she is scared that this might cause them to break up. But, Kelly says that she is not going to hold back.

At the girl's side of the island, Rossi continues to pursue Catherine, and Thomas begins to chase the new girl, Kelly. Rossi and Catherine sneak away behind the cabins to make out. Catherine cuts is short, though, because she starts feeling uncomfortable.

Meanwhile on the other side of the island, Hillary and Edmundo are a couple. When they think that the cameras are off, Hillary and Edmundo make out in the bathroom. We hear a few moans from the bathroom, but we don't get to see the action.

Picking dates
On day ten, all of the singles and couples get together to pick new dates. The single girls are all wearing halter tops. This is the first time when the couples can go out with whomever they want. If they want a second date with one of the singles, they may do so.

Edmundo gets to pick first, he chooses Linda. The new guy, Mark, chooses Donna. Tommy chooses Tiffani. John picks Nayla. John and Nayla have gone out before. The rest are first dates.

Shannon goes first. She chooses Ruben, the kickboxing champ. Nikkole picks Tommy, the New York City Firefighter. Catherine selects Tony. The new girl, Kelly, chooses Thomas.

Rossi is upset that Catherine has selected Tony, and Hillary is very upset that Edmundo did not pick her for a second date. Hillary is so upset that she considers leaving the island. Hillary and Edmundo exchange words. Hillary says, "I was with you last night.... I screw around with a guy, or whatever, and then the next day, I am forgotten."

After the host, Mark, tells the crew that they need to celebrate because this night might be their last night together, everyone begins to drink and to celebrate.

Tommy and Kristen sneak off together for a little making out on the beach and later a little making out in the bed.

Next week, Kelly does body shots with the single guys. Tommy and Nikkole get together. And, finally, there is a mysterious arrival on the island. Also, next week, the final dates are selected.
